Wool Prep & Fiber Processing Classes

Over the course of two Saturdays, Jewel took everyone through the steps of taking raw, dirty fleece straight from a sheep and turn it into a batt of clean, soft wool ready to be spun. From picking out vegetable matter and scouring to carding and blending, everyone left with a beautiful, fluffy wool batt to take home and spin! It gave everyone a new appreciation of the work it takes to get to the beautiful hanks of yarn we see around the shop.
